At Curry in a Hurry New Generation, our goal has always been to serve our community with warmth, honesty, and food made with care. Today we want to share an important update and explain why we are temporarily operating as takeout only.
What Happened
Recently our restaurant experienced a break in that caused damage to our back door. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the door needs to be properly repaired to make sure our space is safe for our staff and our guests.
Because safety comes first, we have made the decision to pause dine in service until the door is fully fixed and secured. During this time we will continue operating as takeout only.
You will see a short clip from our security camera footage here that shows what happened. We believe in being transparent with our community and explaining why this step is necessary.
Why We Are Staying Open for Takeout
As a small family owned restaurant under new ownership in 2025, completely closing even temporarily is not something we can easily do. We have employees who depend on us, ongoing expenses, and a family legacy we are working hard to rebuild and protect.
Offering takeout allows us to continue serving the food you love while we handle repairs responsibly. Our kitchen is fully operational, our recipes and quality remain the same, and every order is prepared with the same care and intention as always.
What This Means for Our Customers
Takeout orders are available during our regular business hours. Orders can be placed in person, by phone, and through our usual online platforms. Dine-in service will return as soon as repairs are complete.
Your support during this time truly makes a difference for our family and our team.
A Personal Thank You
To our neighbors, regulars, and new guests, thank you for standing by us. Running a restaurant comes with challenges, and moments like this test resilience, but we believe deeply in this community and in showing up for one another.
